In 1812, the Mission Society’s founders and early leaders may not have expected the organization to endure as long as it has, and may not have anticipated the types of programs that we currently provide. Nonetheless, they have left us with an enduring example of excellence in the provision of social services. Their efforts were guided by dignity, kindness, and respect – time-honored values that remain at the heart of our work today and inform how we serve each and every child and family that walks through our doors.
